The ROCK of Africa mission base has seven guest chalets with high-pitched thatched roofs, tiled bathrooms and showers.  The base can accommodate up to 35 people.   There is a large thatched pavilion (or boma) with long tables for group dining or meetings.   It is located 10 minutes outside the village of Gwayi River, and two miles off the main road.   The chalets have no electricity and hot water is solar or wood fired.   We eat by candle light and kerosene lantern with cooking on a wood stove or open fire.
